A Hindu American body has opposed the joint production of drones by Russia, Pakistan and Turkey and supported a Congressional move to seek an investigation into the matter. Last week, a bipartisan group of lawmakers, including David Cicilline and Gus Bilirakis, in a letter to Secretary of State Antony Blinken demanded suspension of export licences for US drone technology to Turkey, pending an official investigation into the destabilising role of Ankara's drone programmes in the Caucasus, South Asia, Eastern Mediterranean, and other regions around the world.
The International Anatolian Eagle-2021 Exercise will be held between June 21- July 02, 2021, at the 3rd Main Jet Base in Konya with the participation of Turkish Naval Forces and Air Force and Azerbaijan, Pakistan, Qatar Air Forces, and NATO AWACS elements. Bangladesh, Belarus, Bulgaria, Burkina Faso, Georgia, Iraq, Sweden, Kosovo, Lebanon, Hungary, Malaysia, Nigeria, Romania, Tunisia, Ukraine, Oman, Jordan, and Japan will also participate as observers.

Ships of the Russian Black Sea Fleet will take part in the international exercise AMAN 2021 in the Pakistani port of Karachi. Representatives of more than 30 countries have confirmed their participation in it, about ten of which use their own ship composition. Among them, in particular, representatives of the US Navy, the Royal Navy of Great Britain, the Chinese Navy, the Japanese Naval Self-Defense Forces, the Turkish Navy, the Philippines, Sri Lanka, Indonesia, as well as the Royal Malaysian Navy. Ships of the Russian and NATO naval forces will take part in a joint exercise for the first time since the Bold Monarch 2011 exercise, held off the coast of Spain. The goal of the AMAN 2021 exercise is to strengthen and develop military cooperation between the participating countries in the interests of security and stability at sea, as well as the exchange of experience between naval sailors in repelling the threats of sea piracy in areas of intense shipping.
