Excellent pics. Mig 29k are excellent carrier planes, and definitely better than the harriers.
Please post more images.

Man we need one of those aircraft carriers.

All rhetoric aside. Pakistan has no need or use of an AC. Put aside the costs. Pakistan does not have a extended coast line to protect. Pakistan only has India in its threat matrix, unfortunately. Pakistan has allies in GCC and China. Again, why do you need AC?. China will be engaged in a conflict zone.Counting on China during time of conflict is why Pakistan is banking money they do not have on China. So, again why do you need an AC? How much of shipping lines they need to protect?

India has an extensive coast line and shipping lines to protect.

Pakistani military planners must be thankful that India took the AC in 70s and started patrolling IOR. They are investing in CPEC due to that.

Kindly change the name of thread, USN only have capability to be called king of Indian Ocean hence Advance Super Hornet is currently king in IO skies, not IN and it's Mig-29K.

It will never be USN, USN is just a visitor!

Tell that to their base at Diego Garcia, British Indian Ocean Territory.

Agreed the bases are leased, but it's between US-UK and can be indefinitely extended. They can have a sustainable presence there involving carriers, SSNs, SSBNs, destroyers, cruisers and hundreds of fighters & bombers...which would be several magnitudes higher than any IN/IAF capability that we can project over IOR.

IN maybe the most powerful "regional" navy in the area. But on an absolute capability basis, nothing & no-one in the region can come close to the USN/USAF deployments in the IOR.

I agree their force projection is bigger and better , but with the emergence of china USN is shifting to Pacific. In this scenario the rising IN is going to be numerically superior and can match the major powers. India seems planning to build its military a navy centric one .
