I just had a sharp chest pain in this week two times , what should I do ? Why does it happen ?
 
My experience with weight lifting.

1. Back to back sets for different/opposite muscles 2-3 times a week really pumps up muscle and boosts strength. I used Bicep-Tricep, Shoulder-Legs, Chest-back combinations. Its also termed super-setting i think.

2. The more you change routine and surprise muscle, the more pump it gets and size too. For dumbels, if i do first set with right arm, the next set i start with left first.
Similarly, during super sets, if i did first set of tricep and then bicep, then in 3rd set, i do bicep first and then tricep after rest.
You can change routine every 3-6 months, depends on response of your body.

3. Its best to have a competitive partner who competes with you so you are motivated to lift more weight and do more reps than him. A lazy and un-serious partner will ruin your workout too.

4. Rest days and sleeps are important for building muscles. Lifting heavy weights in gym breaks muscle but rest , diet and sleep makes muscle.

5. Diet makes a muscle too. I prefer boiled chicken with boiled vegetables, boiled egg whites in milk, protein shake, peanut butter, nuts like unsalted almonds etc as they all have protein. Fish is great too.
I don't take much fruit if i want fat loss because fruits also contain sugar.

6. Water is also very important, its okay to take water between sets to stay hydrated.

For Fat loss/burn and Weight Lifting side-by-side:

1. 25-30 mins max, Cardio, after lifting weights is a better way to lose fat. All the blood sugar and glycogen storage is usually used up during 30-45 mins of weight lifting so the body looks for fat deposits to burn for energy.

2. Morning brisk walks on empty stomachs are also great, minimum 40 minutes. Blood sugar is low in morning after you wake up. This is good if yesterday's workout was tough and couldnt get time or energy for cardio.

3. It depends upon individual body what kind of cardio suits a body but I have found cycling better than running because i can bend down on handle and make my knees reach my chest which is difficult in running to bring knees upto chest unless SSG styled parade is adopted :P
Secondly, chances of injury are less in cycling than running.

4. Weight lifting itself is a great fat burning process, so excessive cardio is not required since lifting weights itself burns fat for many hours post workout.
what does body use to give energy:
First-->blood sugar
Second--> Glycogen
Third--> Fats
Fourth--> Muscle

So the hard earned muscles gets affected last.

5. A great work out for fat burn is to do upper body and lower body super sets like shoulders with legs, 1 set of shoulder then 1 of leg because heart will need to pump blood in upper as well as lower body, so it will need more energy from body to do so.
Or front and back, like chest and back.
 
There is sometimes a mis-conception in ladies that lifting weights will make them huge and they will look like pro body-builders with all those muscles .

That is not true actually.
Lifting heavy weights to gain muscles, getting muscle mass and getting the proper curves and cuts of muscles is not an easy task. That requires a lot of heavy lifting with proper diets of proteins and shakes(sometimes steroids). Still male body builders feel a stagnant dead zone when they want to gain mass and have to fight hard to get 1 more inch.

Every human being faces muscle loss at age, muscle atrophy. Women can face more muscle loss over lifetime due to menopause. Of course no one expects women to lift heavy as 20 Kgs or more for a biceps or triceps exercise but probably starting from 3-4 Kg's and going up to 7-8 Kg's can be beneficial.

Of course , google it and in fact, look at exercise regimens of female celebs, they do lift weights. I have seen lots of women in gym lifting weights and they are thin, not heavy or muscular. Lifting dumbels, barbells, or using machines with weights actually helps in fat burn and weight loss. You can lose weight and burn fat faster with weight lifting than just doing cardio.

Jumping on a cardio machine for an hour will have lesser gains than lifting weights for 30 minutes or even during HIIT(high intensity interval training) but im not talking about HIIT here, although its good too.
The heart beat gets faster during cardio and that helps in burning fat but the process slowly stops when heart beat gets to normal after sometime. However this is not the case in weight lifting, for the next 24-48 hours the body keeps burning fat even if u r doing routinely chores and not exercising. Plus you dont need to lift weights everyday.
To keep muscle gains, taking good healthy diet of proteins is important, like chicken, fish etc which also have necessary fats (smaller amounts) in them.

In Pakistan, aunties are happy being fat and obese but i wouldnt take the risk of advising them about lifting dumbels even when it could be beneficial for them plus do talk to your doctor before you go to gym but i talked from my knowledge and experience of lifting weights plus seeing exercise regimens of women( and lady gym instructors) in gyms.

You should immediately go to the Dr... ..
IDK what is your age but if you are below 30 yrs of age and not obese, the mostly it is not a heart disease ( but it still it should be checked by a specialist doctor after ECG).
Check your sleeping habits..if you sleep on left side (down) it can sometimes press your heart and can cause a pain.. but the best is to contact the registered medical practitioner (a doctor) in your area asap!!!!!
 
I think it was due to lack of exercise and activity .
That month I didn't get any activity or proper exercise but now I'm busy and walking so it's dreduced . One man also told me that due to my depression , its affecting my heart . I'm 20 but I believe it's not a heart disease .

But since you are 20, you should not get any pain..so do maintain an active lifestyle but still i would recommend you to see a dr.. and if you need some medicine or treatment for depression, you should do that... by the way praying 5 times a day really helps reduce depression. :)

Depression causes chest tightness due to anxiety, most people call it pain.
 
Yeah . But it's a moving pain .
Like sometimes I feel it middle of chest , sometimes the left side . Mostly it's on left side and I am unable to sleep and lay because it pain hurts my back bone too , I can't even sit due to pain so I start walking . @Signalian

Get your stomach checked.

If the pain is affecting your sleep and life generally, you must go for a check up, see a doctor. Doctor will get your tests done up probably. The tests will show whether its depression or a medical reason. Stomach is on left side, but the doctor will ensure whether its stomach and if stomach is being affected due to depression or other medical reasons.
