I hate to put you "on the spot" buddy, but wasn't the saudi royal family opposed to ouster of Hosni Mubarak (and the subsequent rise of the Ikhwan) (known politically now as the FJP)

I'll break the ice here.....I'm non-sunni and I think Assad's crimes against his people are more appalling by the day. He clearly hasnt introspected and looked around at the realities and the rapidly changing power dynamics in the immediate region.



ultimately however Syria's issue will require a Syrian solution --free from external meddling.
