Suicide Explosion in Hassankhel (Laki Marwat)

There was a period indeed when most if not all countries in the world either wanted to be with America if not like America and while US wanted to adopt the role of the Universal policeman, it was adamant to deliver judgement rather than doing justice. Before you detail your break down on likes and dislikes, pause for moment and ask your self, there are other superpowers likes of Russia, China, France etc., why are only American Nationals targeted all over. Talibans are a menace to our society and we are making more sacrifices than all combined to rid them from our land BUT, BUT just like a full veil is unacceptable in West, a white female will never be able to flaunt her flesh in say down town Kabul, hence if experiment in Iraq is anything to go by, America will never be able to implement it's version of democracy on others. One doesn't has to admire Saddam or like the Taliban to conclude, there was at least stability in those countries before the free world champion gate crashed to stir it.

Haha. Ask an average American about the role of United States in the world and they will probably repeat the usual buzzwords of ‘freedom’, ‘democracy’, ‘peace’ and other such clichés. Ask almost anyone else, and they will frown and spit venom. For good reasons.

Most Americans may be oblivious to their cruel and unusual kingship of the globe but the rest of the world is only too familiar with the reign of terror that constitutes US foreign policy. For far too long, the US has wreaked havoc in places it has no business or concern; propping up puppets, destabilizing nations and all the while ruthlessly checking all opposition to its hegemony.

All this chicanery is aided and abetted by the highly influential US-controlled global media. Dig further and the perpetrators of this shameful dupery gather to form a small nexus of media firms that come with separate names yet identical aims.

Thus we witness colossal travesties like the nuclear bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaki and the terrorizing of defenseless Palestinians by Israeli forces glossed over and seen as ‘necessary,’ while the laughable phantom menace of a bearded man in a cave is projected as ‘an existential threat to Western civilization’.

So it appears you view the P.A. as an instrument of elitist power and that the mohajirs and Punjabi elites use this tool to repress the legitimate aspirations of the pashtu peoples on your lands?

If so, I find your views interesting. They would align with a possible GoP strategic objective to deflect pashtu nationalist aspirations westward towards Afghanistan and away from the Punjabi heart.

There may be some basis for your thoughts but I imagine the xenophobes here will shout you down.

Thanks.:usflag:

kamcos, i wonder, how come by sitting, posting & enjoying your life in Dubai you can know what is happening in Pakistan. And who is what and who is not.

Would be better if you come back to Pakistan, go into the tribal areas, go to Swat and then ask people. Don't make up imaginary BS by enjoying your life in Dubai.

So keep your mouth shut and the BS to yourself.

One thing that most of the people fail to realize is that the largest pushtun city in the world is not Kandahar or Kabul its actually Karachi. If you havnt noticed the ANP which is at this point in time running NWFP is actually a pushtun nationalist party and pushtuns make up a significant number of both officers and soldiers in the army.
The army is not elitist in anyway. The guy who heads it is a son of a NCO not very elitist at all.

what america needs to do is learn a bit of famous British diplomacy rather then texan ye haa .. and a lot of problems will be solved ... from america i mean the establishment ofcource as Americans i found are one of the most awesome bunch of people to live with .. very tolerant and understanding if you explain your point of view to them they listen to you and then accept it rather then just banging the rock wall in there head ! being said that the problem is like many countries American face the same problems like the foreign policy of america has nothing to do with the wishes of American people but is ist implemented and then using the powerful media machine is forced down a ordinary American's throat , many in American reject those policies Anti war alliance and all others but unfortunately they have no power when it comes to there countries foreign policies ....only if America had some real Democracy rather then just choosing the administrators the events of last decade would have unfolded in a very less bloody way .

Also i would like to remind many people that we as Pakistanis are at the moment are in no condition to pass judgment on any country we might have a opinion but as we are in a huge mess at the moment and our own house is ******* from its cores we need to fight this virus that is killing us from within .. have we forgotten that in last year we have lost more lives then any wars we have ever fought !!!! the things Indian army dreamed to do in those wars are done by our own in less then a second . we need to worry about them for the moment rather then who is doing what in the world.

just watch the videos of the Karachi aftermath and see how and what stage of internal destruction and frustration we have reached basically what we are doing is .. because some one else is trying to kill our family ... we will killing them ourselves rather then protecting them or thinking a way out of it.

there needs to be room for compromise on all sides

those who pose threat to national security must be dealt with effectively

Geography is tough and is only one reason why we are facing challenges. The geo-politics are also dirty to say the least. Our enemies supply chains are not yet exhausted; drugs and human trafficking also prevail, and it is unacceptable. More needs to be done to eradicate all these problems.

what we need to do is take a solid stand against a phenomena and then stick to it no matter what ....i know its difficult but not impossible .. if we can build Karakorum high way .. why is it so difficult for us to barb wire and monitor the afghan border , 190 degree thermal camera on a mountain top check post can keep a look out for upto 25 kms with a minimal financial and human expense.
the other thing we need to do is close or monitor heavily any mudrassah or people with too many kids to ''spare'' , a normal man has to keep a look out for who is moving in and out of his street every one needs to be vigilant , work harder toward eradicating poverty and empowering local police to a level that they take care and are willing to take care of any problems or suspicious activity that occurs in there local towns .

police training and proper governance are what can make a huge difference....

These are responsibility of the government

"Man the world smells a little different than Starbucks Coffee, do you really think all these French, Canadian, Poles or any other would be in Afghanistan if America wasn't feeling adventurous.?"

Adventurous? You'd have nuked India if you thought they'd done the same to you as we received on 9/ll. We've a U.N. mandate that you ignore and over forty nations that have freely given of their blood, treasure, and time to do what Pakistan is willfully opposing-the stabilization of Afghanistan under terms other than a pashtu taliban.

You've no moral authority to lecture when you're on the outside looking in. Nobody supports your sanctuaries and nobody supports your proxies beside yourselves.

Pakistan makes enemies daily by its policy choices.

Grow up.

Thanks.:usflag:

You people never fail to amuse me, it's obvious you folks need to learn about yourself before you start teaching others. Wonder who really needs to be enlightened.
