May 16, Colombo: China and Sri Lanka today agreed to further enhance the strategic mutual trust between the two countries and elevate the relations between the armed forces to a new level, when a high-powered Chinese defense delegation called on Sri Lankan President Mahinda Rajapaksa Friday at Temple Trees.

The Chinese delegation led by General Xu Qiliang, the Vice Chairman of China's Central Military Commission, is China's highest military delegation ever to visit Sri Lanka.

May 16, Colombo: China and Sri Lanka today agreed to further enhance the strategic mutual trust between the two countries and elevate the relations between the armed forces to a new level, when a high-powered Chinese defense delegation called on Sri Lankan President Mahinda Rajapaksa Friday at Temple Trees.

The Chinese delegation led by General Xu Qiliang, the Vice Chairman of China's Central Military Commission, is China's highest military delegation ever to visit Sri Lanka.

Chinese General visits Trincomalee

The Visiting Chinese Delegation headed by General Xu Qiliang visited the Sri Lanka Air Force Academy China Bay yesterday. The delegation arrived in China Bay on an SLAF Ma-60 Aircraft and on landing at the Academy Airfield, was received by the Commandant of the Air Force Academy, Air Commodore Sagara Kotakadeniya. The guests were then conducted to the No 1 Flying Training Wing.

The delegation also visited the Naval and Maritime Academy, where they were received by the Deputy Eastern Naval Commander, Commodore NAN Sarathsena.

The delegation was hosted to dinner by the Commander of the Air Force, Air Marshal Kolitha Gunatilleke.

Gen Xi QiLiang and his entourage will visit the temple of the Tooth and SLAF Base Katunayake, today.

What is the latest on the possible Chinese Naval Base in Sri Lanka ?
 
India too.they visited eastern navy command last week.i think they all are the same delegation.

Oh, didn't know that, I read the news from Chinese ministry of national defense, it only mentioned the above 3 countries.
