[Sejong]

Sejong the Great Class Destroyers were built and designed for conventional naval warfare, anti-submarine warfare and anti-air warfare. The class can also be used to escort other ships protecting them from enemy aircraft. The Sejong Destroyer class is also equipped with Aegis combat system. South Korea is considering equipping the Sejong class with SM-3 missiles for Ballistic missile defense threats. 3 are in service while another 3 are going to be built
Sensors: AN/SPY-1D multi-function radar, AN/SPG-62 fire control radar, DSQS-21BZ hull mounted radar
weapons: 1 Mk45 mod 4 naval gun, 1 Goalkeeper CIWS, 1 RIM-116 SAM, 16 Haesung anti-ship missiles, 1 80 cell Mk 41 VLS for SM-2 Surface to Air Missiles, 1 48 cell K VLS for 32 Hyunmoo III cruise missiles and 16 Hong Sang Eo anti-submarine missiles, 2 torpedo tubes for 2 Chung Sang Eo Torpedoes

The Chungmugong Yi Sun-sin Class destroyers are Multipurpose destroyers built for the navy's destroyer program. A total of 6 were built.
Sensors: AN/SPS-45 air search radar, MW08 3D G-Band PESA fire control radar and DSQS-23 Sonar system
Armament: 1 Mk 45 naval gun, 1 Goalkeeper CIWS, 1 RIM-116 SAM, 1 32 cell Mk41 VLS for SM-2 Surface to air missiles, 1 32 cell K-VLS for 8 Hong Sang Eo anti submarine missiles and Hyunmoo-III Cruise missiles, and 8 Haeseong anti-ship missiles
