Though it rises and ebbs, it still is most unfortunate.

Any statistics to indicate the areas where the attacks have taken place, i.e. places of worship, business districts, govt area and so on?

That would give a general idea of the reasons for targeting a specific lot when viewed with the events of that time that could have caused the terrorist reaction.

It would also allow knowing, if they were merely terrorists attacks for the sake of terrorising and without any specific intent to send a message to the powers that be in the Govt or the security force.

the injured is the worst part....sigh !!!!!

on topic: ebb and flow, that's how terrorism in Pakistan is indeed.
thanks for sharing them, but the source?

off-topic: Hate to say this, but the first graph seems like a bad ECG tracing with cardiac abnormalities super imposed on one another.

How do Pakistanis claim 35000 deaths in WoT?

How did they arrive at this figure?

Is this an official figure without any basis and proof and merely stated by the govt. as such?

...which means it is only as reliable as the figure of insurgency related deaths quoted by the state govt. of J&K.
