Russia, Syria, Iran and Iraq have created an information center in Baghdad to coordinate the fight against the Islamic State extremist group, a military-diplomatic source said Friday, RIA Novosti reported.

MOSCOW (Sputnik) — The source explained that the center would focus on collection, processing, summarizing and analysis of current data about the situation in the Middle East in the context of the fight against ISIL.

It will also allegedly distribute the information to destination and rapidly transfer it to the general staffs of these countries.

"The Russian Federation, the Syrian Arab Republic, the Republic of Iraq and the Islamic Republic of Iran have decided to open an information center in Baghdad, which will include the General Staff representatives from the named countries," the source said.

The center will be headed by Russian, Syrian, Iraqi and Iranian officers on a three-month rotational basis, according to the source.

However, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said Friday that reports concerning the creation of a a coordination center in Baghdad for the fight against the Islamic State are false.

Earlier on Friday, Fox News citing information from Western special services said that Russia, Syria and Iran had allegedly organized a center in Baghdad in an attempt to begin coordinating efforts with Shiites against ISIL.

Russia Approves Use of Armed Forces in Syria

Russia’s Federation Council unanimously approved the use of the country’s armed forces abroad.

MOSCOW (Sputnik) –Russia’s upper house of parliament on Wednesday approved the country’s armed forces to be used abroad.

The decision includes only the use of the Air Force and does not foresee any ground troops operations, Kremlin Administration Aide Sergei Ivanov said Wednesday.

“We’re talking exclusively about operations of Russia’s Air Force, as our president has already said, the use of armed forces on the ground theater of military operations is excluded. The military goal of the operations is exclusively air support of the Syrian government forces in their fight against the Islamic State,” Ivanov said.

Syrian President Bashar Assad has turned to Russia with a request for military assistance, according to Ivanov.

“I would like to inform you that the president of the Syrian Arab Republic turned to the leadership of our country with a request to provide military assistance, so we may say that terrorism needs to be fought, efforts need to be combined, but it is still necessary to observe the norms of international law,” Ivanov told journalists.

Kremlin will inform foreign partners of the decision made by the parliament of using Russian armed forces abroad during the day through foreign ministry channels, and the military will do the same through their channels.

According to Ivanov, the decision was made to help Syria and protect Russian interests.

"First and, probably, the most important, we are talking about Syria alone, and we are not talking about reaching some foreign policy goals, satisfying some ambitions which our western partners accuse us of, we are talking about Russia's national interests alone," Ivanov told journalists.

Ivanov said that the Air Force operations would be temporary, but was unable to say exactly how long they would be in play.

“In regard to the timeline, the Russian Air Force operation, of course, cannot last forever and has a definite time period, but what the time period is, for example, in regard to the number of days as well as telling you how many aircraft will be used and which armament will be used by our Air Force, I cannot say right now for obvious reasons,” Ivanov said.

Russia's President Vladimir Putin has earlier on Wednesday requested permission from the Federation Council to use Russian Armed Forces abroad.

Russia, Iran, Iraq, and Syria have recently created an information center in Baghdad in order to coordinate the fight against the Islamic State. The information center’s main goals are to provide reconnaissance on the number of IS militants, their weapons, and their movements.

Earlier this week, it was revealed that the new center would begin operations in October or November and be headed by Russian, Syrian, Iraqi and Iranian officers on a three-month rotational basis.

Now ISIS will finally be destroyed.

US was bombing the Syrian army, not ISIS. US wants Assad gone to further American geopolitical interests.

Assad should stay and Russia should make sure Assad stays.

Russia's operations will prove that US' anti-ISIS campaign has been a fake one, if not genuinely ineffective.

That's probably why both the US and France have suddenly increased the intensity of their operations over the past few days.

The US always wanted to keep ISIS as a trump card.

The entire bomb ISIS campaign has been fake. Anyone with a brain can figure it out. The US could easily bomb ISIS into shreds but ISIS is a very useful tool for America to overthrow Assad.

America has been using terrorists, political dissidents, gangs to achieve its geopolitical agenda for generations. It's the modus operandi of the United States.

US will partner with anybody or anything if it means increasing American influence globally.

Getting rid of Assad is the primary goal of the US. Syria is part of America's greater Middle East project which was started in the fake 'war on terror' in 2001.

The ultimate prize in the Middle East is toppling Iran's mullahs and installing a puppet regime.

All these Middle East chess pieces are smaller moves in containing Russia and China which is the grand objective.

Russia and China are the only two countries that have any sort of power that hinders America from establishing complete world domination. Other countries are either too weak or American puppets to check America fascism.

Russia and China need to keep Iran strong. If Assad goes, Iran has no one in the Middle East and full attention will go to toppling Iran. The US has gone from Afghanistan to Iraq to Libya to now Syria.

US wants all Middle Eastern countries to become American puppets so it can control the energy supplies to China.

Russia and China made getting rid of Gaddafi way too easy for the US. Both learnt their lesson and decided to fight hard in Syria. Once Syria is done, then it's Iran. Then it's Russia and China themselves.

It's most probably true that ISIS is a CIA-Mossad brain child. However, despotic regimes like the Asad regime cannot resist the zionazi hegemony permanently for the people are against such oppressive regimes and the zionazis use that to destabilize the region. Since the majority of the Muslims are already against the zionazis, simply let their true representatives come to power and they will tackle the zionazi hegemony permanently.

Despotic regimes:
Saudi Arabia
Israel
Turkey
Qatar
Bahrain
Jordan

Peaceful governments:
Iran
Syria
Iraq

Look, I am a die hard opponent of states like Israel but I must admit for the sake of honesty that the Israeli government does not impose itself upon the Israelis, they are elected by the Israelis. The same goes for Turkey, Iran and Iraq but not Syria. Syria is like Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Bahrain and Jordan.

Definitely. Despotic either in domestic or foreign policy. Or both.

If regional and international environment allows, I am sure the three peaceful nations will move toward a more responsive and democratic (in their own terms) governance.

Anyways, the bear is here to change the game:

Russia Authorizes Use of Its Armed Forces in Syria to Fight ISIL

MOSCOW (Sputnik) – Syria hopes that the Russian Air Force will carry out airstrikes against all terrorist organizations that are present in the country, Syrian Ambassador to Russia Riad Haddad told Sputnik on Wednesday.

“The Russian Armed Forces will attack all the terrorist organizations present in Syria, including the Islamic State and Jabhat al-Nusra,” Haddad said.

Haddad also said that the Russian Air Force headquarters would be determined by the military command.

ISIS is a brainchild of, first and foremost, the house of Saud.

The only despotic regimes are those that gang against the secular government of Syria.

The US and Israel also want secular governments in the Muslim World. So, why are you against them? Syria and Saudi Arabia are in the same league, what Asad does in the name of secularism, the Saudi despots do the same thing in the name of Islam though that is not Islam. If you cannot be free from your prejudice there's no point arguing with you.

Socialist and secular governments are the last things the US wants in the Islamic world. Since the nationalist movements and then Marxism took hold of in Eurasia, they have fought against them and they found the radical/reactionary Islam to be their best ally.

The whole reason why they allowed Turkey into NATO in the early 1950s was to prevent the spread of left ideologies and revolutionary (anti-US) politics.

In the establishment of the Islamic Brotherhood, you will see British involvement.

The same Western countries propped up Hamas as an alternative to Marxist-secular Fatah of Arafat.

Political Islam and Islamic sunni radicalism (the green belt project) is a US-Western craft from top to down.

Looks like Russia hit certain targets in three cities (not one, as reported earlier): Latakia, Homms and Aleppo.

France claims Russia might not hit ISIS targets only.

Sorry, monsieur, not just ISIS, all terrorist targets are on Putin's hit list, including terrorists kindly baptized by yourselves.
