KTU Trainees For Stint In Pakistan
ALOR SETAR, April 24 (Bernama) -- The Air Force Training College (KTU) in Kepala Batas will send four trainee pilots for training at Pakistan's air force college of flying in Risalpur.
Royal Malaysian Air Force (RMAF) chief Datuk Seri Rodzali Daud said the trainees would be leaving for the one year Pakistan training stint next month.
"Trainees who pass will be deployed to fly our fleet including Hawk jet trainer aircraft," he told reporters after presenting wings at a passing out parade in Kepala Batas near here on Saturday.
Rodzali said the trainees picked for the Pakistan stint were the best adding it was was looking for similar opportunities in India, South Africa and Italy.
The Pakistan stint would be the first for trainee pilots as previously only trainers were sent abroad.
