Uttarakhand tableau focused on the origin of Kumbh Mela in Haridwar. It depicted the Hindu mythological incident of ‘Samudramanthan.’

Global warming was the theme of the floral tableau by Central Public Works Department.

Goa being the permanent venue for International Film Festival of India(IFFI) highlighted the annual event in its tableau.

The Rajasthan tableau was based on the Jantar Mantar in Jaipur. The astronomical observatory was built by Mahraja Sawai Jai Singh in 1734.

Kerala tableau showcased the festival celebrated in central parts of the state in Kali temples ‘Padayani.’

The unique Bamboo drip irrigation system of Meghalaya that is used to provide water to plantations was depicted on the State’s tableau. Nearly 18-20 litres of water entering the bamboo pipe system per minute gets transported over several hundred metres and finally gets reduced in 20-80 drops per minute at the site of the plant.

The tableau from Maharashtra focused on the specialised service of the Dabbawalas in Mumbai who move 200,000 boxes in a single day.

Jammu and Kashmir tableau showcased the State’s crafts : Kanishawl, wood carving, carpet-weaving, willow-work , paper-machie and chain-stiching

Karnataka Tableau presented one of the finest examples of temple architecture from ‘Pattadakal.’ Built in 8th Century by Chalukya dynasty , the temples are a blend of Dravadian and Nagara styles.

Bihar tableau highlighted Bhagalpur silk and its production.

Ministry of Culture tableau was created by Sangeet Natak Academy . The tableau displayed classical musical instruments : Veena, Shankha, Bhortal, Sushira Vadya.

The tableau of Manipur showed the performance of Hiyana Tanba (boat race) which is associated with spiritual rites. The tractor portion depicts a statue of ‘Pakhangba,’ the incarnation of God.

The Ministry of Youth affairs and Sports highlighted the Commonwealth Games 2010 in their tableau with the Games Mascot ‘Shera’ standing tall along with famous Indian players.

Ministry of Tribal affairs tableau focused on the empowerment of the tribal population after the implementation of Forest Rights Act, 2006

Agriculture ministry tableau carried a symbolic statue of bountiful Mother Earth blissfully filling the pots of food grains.

Tripura tableau focused on melody-maestro Sachin Deb Burman. S.D. Burman composed music for 89 Hindi and 31 Bangla songs.
