AK-47 is powerful. It's good for close quarter combat. Dragunov is used for medium range combat between 200 and 500 meters. AM50 is used for long range combat between 500 meters and 1000 meters.

AK47 is made successful not alone by itself but with its complementing ammunition. 7.62x39 it is the round we used to defeat TTP, and NATO is developing a round based on it to replace 556 fired by M4!
