Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has directed Pakistan's National Disaster Management Authority to provide full support to the avalanche-hit people of Afghanistan.
In a message to Afghan President Ashraf Ghani, he expressed deep grief over the loss of precious human lives and destruction of property in the incident.
The Prime Minister said multiple convoys have already been deployed to airlift support to Afghanistan.
He said the Pakistani people and resources stand available to their Afghan brethren. He assured President Ashraf Ghani that we will not sleep peacefully until we know that this crisis has passed.
