Places of tourism in Pakistan

It is extremely unfortunate that Pakistan has witnessed decline in tourism in recent years.

The negative publicity Pakistan often receives due to the unfortunate incidents of terrorism overshadows the fact it is one of the most beautiful places in the world. The truth is that the people of Pakistan are very welcoming and friendly to the tourists. The beautiful nation of Pakistan has so much to offer from many wonderful and historical places to lakes, glaciers and green valleys. I remember visiting Swat, Kaghan and other surrounding areas as a child, and all I have to say is that Swat, Kaghan are must see places for anyone who likes to travel and enjoy natural beauty. I really hope to see the people from all parts of the world come to Pakistan and enjoy what it has to offer.

Pakistan has no toursim place....

a) No Casinos
b) No Resorts and beaches
c) No parties
d) No fancy sunsets
e) Ruined beach you have ugly shipyard in beach
f) Congested cities and pollution is abundent

Few half heartedly built gardens and old 100 year old buildings
Better off to visit Hawaii or Jamaica

People think Metro Bus is Toursit attraction

Once we setup up few good places we will send out a bulliten

Malls are quite popular in local folks as a tourist spot perhaps but we all know that they are not

Well in some forms PAKSITAN could be a Tourist Destination if there was planning and initiative on Large scale

a) Focus on cultural Exhibits and Shows
Singing , Concerts and Festivals

b) Resorts and Beaches for Toursits and Hotels / Casio its a must Toursit need their time for fun

c) Special Tours to Exotic destinations High End Bus / Train Trips to Northern Pakistan or Balouchistan


There are really 2 type of visitors to Pakistan Internal Tourist and External

For internal Toursist , places like Malls the worn torn beach and odd camel or horse ride is exciting

But for People with $$$$$ The external forigners who bring in Billions in revenue

You need planning

a) Billion Dollar Hotel Chains
b) Casinos
c) Swimming pool resorts in Baouchitsan
d) Some class night parties not the underground bull that goes in Karachi and Lahore
Proper parties where Actors , and Politicians and Artist meet
e) We need MONUMENTS .. something like Pyramid of Egypt ... to attrack folks to Pakistan

We need something BIG ... and Unique ... to bring in People around the world ....

I mean some minor development in Karachi beach was ok move but really its just minor stuff

Can't bring in Billion Dollars Tourist Industry when you compete with

Would never recommend anyone to visit Lahore / Karachi or major cities , Dust , noise pollution and just graffiti all over

I mean Lahore ... our brightest city with most funding

Some Architecture , notice the wonderful architecture used in the bridge and crossing point

Some more of our City Planning and Architecture of buildings , special emphasis on the traffic lights and crossing for pedestrians

Sometimes ...we can be happy as at the pictures of Mountains of swat and north or the un spoiled deserts of Balouchistan

But ..... we as nation have not done anything to demonstrate that we are a cultured society and follow rules and law and have entertainment or tourism mind set

Other wise....

Karachi can be like Miami , jet skies , boats , cruise ships trips .... beaches resorts
Gwada can be like Hwaii , beautiful beaches , hotel chains and amazing night sky
Lahore can have wonderful sky scrapers like in Malasia or clean streets

Same weather as Miami / Hawaii or Los Angeles or San Diego or Florida yet our cities look like its out of world war 2 period


Why can't we have a government that comes and builds up all cities of Pakistan universally

Same standard quality and make it look "RESPECTABLE"

a) Painted buildings
b) Hotels
c) Gold courses
d) Fun theme parks
e) High Quality Cinemas
f) Picnic spots / BBQ spots
g) High end resorts / Casinos or Jet Sky resorts
h) Spas for relaxation
i) Swimming pools and high end resturants
j) Why no Sky resort up north world class standard
l) Why no racing event in Pakistan F1 style with fancy beautiful models carrying banners
m) Why no space observatory or may be World Class Meuseum for History not the cheap stuff
now


Why don't our cities look like Malasia or UAE or Saudia or Turkey

Similarly ... we have no Toursist "MIND SET" which can bring Billions to economy
