What's new

Pakistan's new Sniper Rifles in development.

The latest rifle is actually an "assembly" by POF wherein parts from different manufacturers are procured and assembled by POF with "minor" modifications.

The result in the end is a competition grade, sub-MOA precision rifle which proved its mark in both of the last 1000m long range shooting competitions.

Where can I get the toy version ?

Sir @Sulman Badshah if you can tell me please What is the difference between POF PSR-90 and POF LSR?
Both are chambered in .308 ... Main difference is PSR 90 is semi automatic rifle while LSR is bolt action sniper rifle ...

Moreover PSR 90 is derived from PSG 1 and have a weight +-8 kg without mag ... While LSR is light in weight and derived from surgeon .338 and its weight is 5.7 kg without mag and bipod ...PSR 90 is more of a to fill the role of DMR ...

Thanks Sir @Sulman Badshah , There is another product named as "POF Azb" which is listed as DMR, So how do you compare Azb and PSR-90 then?

Azb is more of DMR with semi automatic configuration as compared to LSR which is Bolt Action...
Azb Barrel length is shorter hence engagement range would be 500-800 meter ... Which is good in urban warfare or in anti terrorism operation...
LSR is also host same ammo but due to bolt action and long barrel .. It can be called as proper sniper rifle .. LSR is designed for engagement longer than Azb which is more than 800 meters ...

Pakistan Ordnance Factory’s LSR (Light Sniper Rifle) was a move away from POF’s HK/G3-based semi-automatic snipers of the recent past. This offering is bolt action, can be offered in 7.62x51mm or .338 Lapua Magnum and appears well made. www.pof.gov.pk
