LAHORE: Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Ameer Sirajul Haq on Saturday said that in future Pakistan will be the centre of the Khilafat and a super power, adding that a corrupt faction of society was now ruling the country and has no religion.

Activities at the three-day JI congregation at the Minar-e-Pakistan here reached their peak on Saturday, the second day, with the holding of a number of events and conferences throughout the day including an international women’s conference, and a moot for students and youth, where the JI Amir Sirajul Haq delivered the presidential address.

Besides, various delegations of the minorities from both Pakistan and abroad called on the JI leadership to discuss issues and the prevailing situation. Noted religious leaders, including the Jamaatud Dawah Amir Hafiz Muhammad Saeed, Tehrik-e-Jafaria leader Iftikhar Hussain Naqvi, JUI-S delegation, led by Maulana Abdul Rauf Farooqi, and Maulana Asim Makhdoom, also called on the JI leadership to discuss the situation in the country.

Sirajul Haq distributed trophies among a number of youth, students and children, for their outstanding performance in various fields.

Former JI Amir Syed Muanwar Hasan delivered a special address, while JI Secretary General Liaquat Baloch presented the party performance report for the past six years.

The proceedings went smoothly as participants showed a remarkable level of discipline. Strict security arrangements were made by the JI volunteers, who worked vigilantly inside the tent city and outside it to regulate vehicular traffic.

A small number of police personnel were present inside the tent city and the traffic wardens outside were not bothered much as they passed their time with ease and leisure.

The day began with a Dars-e-Quran by JI Naib Amir Hafiz Idris, which was followed by Dars-e-Hadith, delivered by JI India Amir and veteran scholar Maulana Jalaluddin Umri on the issue of human rights.

Addressing the women conference, attended by thousands of women from all across the country and abroad, Sirajul Haq said the JI wanted to build an Islamic Pakistan where women enjoyed privileged status given to them by Islam including enormous rights that even the women in Britain and the US envied.

Sirajul Haq said the presence of such a large number of women was a sign that Pakistani women were not impartial in the war between right and wrong, between Islam and the forces of Kufr. These women stood with Islam in its war against hypocrisy. These women believed that Allah alone was supreme and none other was supreme. They did not consider the US, Britain or Russia as supreme, he added.

The JI chief debunked the West’s propaganda that Islam denied women rights. He said it was Islam that gave the women the right to inheritance and ownership of property. He said fourteen centuries ago, Islam had established a paradise on earth in the form of a household with the sacred relationships of husband and wife, mother and son, sister and brother, aunt and niece and so on. He said the West had demolished all these sacred relationships, denied women their genuine rights and even thrust upon her shoulders the responsibility of earning a livelihood. In spite of all that, the West claimed to be the champion of woman rights.

He cited a Hadith of the Holy Prophet (SAW) that whoever had two daughters, and brought them up with love and affection, would be close to him in paradise like two fingers of his hand.

He regretted that banks deny loans to women, who make up 51 percent of the country’s population, and extend the facility to the corrupt politicians and industrialists, who get them written off later. He declared that an Islamic government would grant interest-free loans to women so that they could bring up their children and make them useful citizens.

He also debunked the view that progress could only be made if women worked shoulder to shoulder with men like in the West, saying actually such people wanted to demolish the fortress of the home Islam had given us but had been demolished in the West. However, he said the Pakistani women would foil the conspiracy.

Earlier, a representative of minorities including Christians, Sikhs, Hindus, including ex-MNA Gopal Singh Chawla, attended the congregation and talked to Sirajul Haq.

Siraj told the minority leaders that he was the first man who had moved a resolution in the Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa Assembly that the non-Muslims living in the country should be termed Pakistanis and not minorities. He said he was the first political leader to visit the house of the Christian couple burnt to death at Kot Radha Kishan, recently.

He said the JI would hold meetings with the Pakistani community in Sindh, Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan and announce a line of action for the solution to their problems.

Sirajul Haq said the small elite class ruling the country had no religion, because no religion - Islam, Hinduism, Christianity - permitted corruption and cruelty. These rulers were not human beings as they were sucking the blood of human beings. He said such people should be in Adiala jail and not in the corridors of power. He also lashed out at the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) for writing off bank loans worth one billion rupees for recovery of only Rs50 million, and said NAB did not have any authority to do so.

Speaking for the Pakistani community, Younus Khan Advocate lauded the efforts of JI to eliminate the distances between the believers of different religions.

Punjabi Sikh Sangat Chairman Gopal Singh said the country at present needed a leadership that could face India eye to eye, and said that such a leadership was available in the person of Sirajul Haq.

Addressing the Youth Convention, organised by student bodies affiliated with JI, Sirajul Haq said the West was making every effort to deprive the Muslim youth of their Islamic character. Despite that, the ideals for the Muslim youth even today were Muhammad bin Qasim, Mehmud Ghaznavi and Salahuddin Ayubi. He said one of the motives behind the 9/11 incident was to change the educational syllabi in the Islamic counties. The US allocated huge funds in the Kerry-Lugar Bill for the media and changes in the educational syllabi but the Muslim youth had foiled all US conspiracies.

JI Secretary General Liaqat Baloch, presenting report on the JI performance during the last six years, said the JI message was spreading all over the country fast and the day was not far when its efforts would bear fruit in the shape of an Islamic revolution.

A special session on the global situation by delegates coming from all over the world was in progress late at night at the time of filing this report. The congregation would come to an end on Sunday (today) with the concluding address of Sirajul Haq.

Preparing for ISIS arrival, terrorist? JI Chief cant seem to digest the fact that his brethren are getting a good pounding in the current operations in the tribal areas, hence the paranoid disorganized speech.

So according to him, making women's work is a crime  He will give interest free loans to make her kids study, and not for her business. An another big lol and an idiot. A wolf in sheep clothes.

All those sweetened words and references just to brainwash women and make them believe that they are given rights far greater than others and to make them a willing pawn in the hands of the Islamist's.

Just an example of how the devil works and spins his fairy tales.

He has a point. This opinion will resonate with a lot of people in Pakistan.

A fabled idea of a caliphate spanning across the muslim world and according to the Shri Mullah Siraj here, Pakistan becomes the centre of power of this giant Islamic kingdom.

A similar thing with a cynical intent, off topic and partially a flamebait. The same will be carried out without hesitation in the future.

A sensible Mullah? What would the world have come to?

Apparently all are following the line of Mullah Do-Piaza.. only in religious matters
