KARACHI: Pakistan has sent a formal reference to British government against Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) founder for inciting violence on August 22, spokesman for the interior ministry said Tuesday.

The reference against MQM founder was sent by interior ministry.

The spokesman said Pakistan has also given evidences to the British government pertaining to anti-Pakistan speech by MQM founder and inciting the workers for violence.

According to the reference, Altaf Hussain not only violated Pakistani laws but also British and international laws on August 22.

The interior ministry, in the reference, urged the British government to take action against all those responsible for inciting the public to violence and creating a law and order situation in Pakistan.

At least one person was killed and several others injured when MQM workers stormed a media house following Altaf Hussain’s speech at Karachi Press Club.

On Monday, DG Rangers Major General Bilal Akbar said MQM unit and sector workers were involved in attack on media house. The attack was facilitated by MQM Labour Division, he said and added that it was a pre-planned act.

However, MQM Pakistan leader has denied it was a pre-planned act.

MQM Pakistan has distance itself from Altaf Hussain after the provocative speech on August 22.

Run down of MQM strategies when they are caught, yet yet yet another time.

Strategy 1: Deny miscreants were their party workers.
Strategy 2: When caught red-handed, disown workers after they are caught.
Strategy 3: If still unable to escape, declare this a conspiracy against MQM by Establishment.
Strategy 4: If still questioned, call it an attempt to push Mahajirs against the wall.
Strategy 5: When all tried and failed, go against country and abuse rest of the Nation.

British Government backs him, expect nothing.

Till the day he is doing the needful, once became useless, we will be seeing him imprisoned on many charges that the proceedings are currently slowed down purposely. I hope GoP is in no mood to bring him here, let him be done with justice in UK.

British authorities better hurry. There are talks of him shifting to SA or, US.

Since the government recently grew a brain and arrested Anjem the @sshole, hopefully they will arrest this guy too. Only this time, for a little longer.

British Government backs him, expect nothing.

They arrested him for money laundering.

he is in jail in a special cell which is segregated from inmates to avoid any preaching/brainwashing.

We need a dedicated FM who can put pressure abroad to deport/arrest Altaf. Right now hes something of an asset to Britain, and Nawaz is doing nothing to counter this.:hitwall:

Nothing is going to happen. This is just an eyewash.

If government is serious, it has more effective ways to communicate to British government to arrest the rascal.

If murder was legal, Im sure he would be on the list of millions of people...

It cannot be an eyewash, since so many things are at stake. Never will Karachi go there again from where it has been recovered.
@PaklovesTurkiye @LA se Karachi your thoughts?

I don't think so. Not this time

a horse can never be useless but it is the master who makes his horse usefull and useless. so Uk will not do anything which hurts its interest in near future by adjudicating Iltaf. so no refernce would be potent enough to harm Altaf bhaiiiiii
