IN ambition and reach is different from PN. .. comparing both navies is foolishness.. IN running towards blue water capabilities.. So it's adding more no of ships every year and some additions are coming out surprise... just like Arihant class.. for the submerged threat, We are Inducting ASW platforms be it P-8I, ASW flotilla or helis... trying to minimise the impact from Subs in future.. And these additions in the view of PLAN not PN...

all other wish list of having 5 SSBN for India is still a pipe dream. or PN having SSBN is also a pipe dream by mid of next decade. there is no proof of either of the country having any of the above.

Entirely false, it is known the IN are working on a class of 6 SSN based on the Arihant, with the ATV project a success and kept under wraps for so long this ability is proven, the IN's homegrown SSN will be in service from 2024/5. Pakistan's SSN/SSBN hopes on the other hand are a complete fantasy.

There has to be some ambition about surface fleet , a no follow up on initial 4 F22P frigate is quite astonishing.
