Islamabad- Finance Minister Ishaq Dar says the government has embarked upon an ambitious programme of Economic Corridor and to start operations at the Gwadar Port to link Pakistan to regional markets.
Speaking at Air Headquarters in Islamabad, he said with wound economic policies, commitment, good governance and transparency, the PML-N government will make Pakistan a leading regional economy in the next few years. The minister said studies related to Pakistan suggest that sound economic management policy in terms of low inflation, trade openness and low budget deficit are critical for the effectiveness of foreign assistance.
