I don't think PAF ever used F-5. However there are some reports suggesting they were part of PAF.

What I personally think is the case is that these fighters would have been made available in case of Pakistan involved in a war during 80's when it was a front line state againt Soviet occupation of Afghanistan.

After almost two decades we are again a front line state. I guess we are where we were two decades a go and have learnt nothing :hitwall:

Some were donated to BD and Sri Lanka, others made it to musea.

correct - 2 sqdn each were donated to BD and SL. the BD F-6's were wiped out in a cyclone. many became chowk decorations around pakistan. 30 have been dismantled and kept in storage at a PAF base for that "do-or-die eventuality" and about 30 are parked at PAF Drigh road (behind PAF museum).

Where did Pakistan get 10 Mi35s?

this was surprising to me also. i have checked and apparantly they are on order!. needs confirmation though.

You are right sir, if you Google Map the Faisal base, one can spot atleast 40 F-6s spread all around with 7 on Main Tarmac , 27 on the disused taxi track north of ATC and few parked else where..

All the FT-6s (dual seat F-6) are however still flying with A-5 squadrons. As A-5 doesn’t have a dual version, so FT-6s are used for conversion, training etc..
