Senate body visits PAF headquarters
ISLAMABAD: The members of Senates Standing Committee on Defence and Defence Production were briefed on various aspects of Pakistan Air Force (PAF) during their visit to the Air Headquarters on Thursday. A statement by PAF said the members were comprehensively briefed on all aspects of the air force, including air power potential and its significance in the overall defence of Pakistan. A detailed account of PAFs developmental plans was also presented, and PAFs contribution in the ongoing anti-terrorist operations in Swat and FATA was elaborately explained. The briefing was followed by a question answer session. The briefing was chaired by Air Chief Marshal Rao Qamar Suleman, and included the chief of the air staff as well as all principal staff officers. staff report
