SIALKOT: At least one person was killed and three others injured on Sunday during an exchange of fire across the working border between India and Pakistan border near Silakot's Charwah and Mirajkey sectors, DawnNews reported.

Pakistan Rangers claimed that Indian soldiers indiscriminately opened fire early Sunday morning in Sialkot's Mirajkey and Charwah sectors, killing one man and wounding two women and a child.

Rescue teams immediately reached the attack site and shifted the injured to a Combined Military Hospital Sialkot.

Locals also reported that the shelling and firing from across the border had also killed several livestock.

Attacks along the border are an ongoing issue between India and Pakistan.

Only recently on July 16, two Pakistani soldiers were wounded in an exchange of fire between Indian and Pakistani forces in Charwah sector near Sialkot.

The funny thing is that Pakistani combatants have a curious habit of becoming civilians after they die or lose a war. Happened in '99, when the country disowned their soldiers after losing the war, and denied that their soldiers ever took part, dead bodies notwithstanding. As long as they are alive, they are mard-e-momin armymen. Once they die, they become "civilians" and IA is accused of killing "civilians".

Disowning your own soldiers is a national trait for you, so no surprises there. Send them to a hopeless war, and after they die needlessly, disown them. Shabash.

@Windjammer Got the parcel ?

Not sure if the man killed was an innocent. Troops from Pak side have a habit of disclaiming losses.
@Gessler
Well as an Indian you can take joy in a civilians death but we stick to our guns, which did quieten the indiscriminate Indian firing.....You wouldn't need to wait long for your own delivery.

SIALKOT: At least one villager was killed and four including two women sustained injuries in Indian Border Security Force (BSF)’s unprovoked overnight firing in Charwa and Harpal sectors here, Geo News reported.

Punjab Rangers taking effective measures retaliated the Indian BSF unwarranted firings.

Pakistan Army sources said that Indian BSF started firing and shelling with heavy weapons at around 12.30 P.M. in which one Mohammad Iqbal, 45 resident of village Thatti was martyred, while four persons including two women and one child sustained injuries at Harpal. Besides, three cattle of the villagers were also killed.

The injured were shifted to Sialkot Allama Iqbal Hospital.

The villagers said that the Indian forces resort to unprovoked firing and shelling mostly during Ramazan and on the occasion of Muslim festivals like Eid.

That's what ALWAYS happen.

We have killed couple of Indian soldiers on borders after they opened fire. What do these hijarays do? start firing at our posts in different sectors..when they couldn't achieve any hit on our Professional soldiers (may be cuz our boys aren't drunk retards like weak bharti hindu soldiers)...indian soldiers kill our CIVILIANS to feel "good' about themselves.

Pathetic.

Why all of a sudden India start firing on Sialkot border?? News channel showed that homes were hit by India. It seems they are checking the readiness of our paramilitary or it is part of some game plane of Modi who asked his army chief about readiness of its troops to take care of Pakistan??
