India also questioned the locus standi of the OIC, which in its communique affirmed "its support to the people of the Jammu & Kashmir for their right to self-determination", to make such references.

External affairs ministry spokesperson Vikas Swarup said, "We note with utmost regret that the final communique adopted at the conclusion of the 13th Islamic Summit of the Heads of State/Government of the OIC Member States held at Istanbul, Turkey on 14-15 April includes factually incorrect and misleading references pertaining to the Indian state of Jammu and Kashmir, which is an integral part of India.

"We completely reject all such references regarding matters internal to India, on which the OIC has no locus standi. We further advise the OIC to refrain from making such references in future."

The OIC members also reaffirmed its principled support for the people of Jammu and Kashmir for the realisation of their legitimate right to self-determination, in accordance with relevant UN resolutions and aspirations of the people of Jammu and Kashmir and said that freedom struggle must not be equated with terrorism.

Largest Democracy in the World denying the Self-Determination of People, Lolx India ought to be responsible for claiming herself so called largest democracy.

we just claim largest because number of people, we may not be the best... :)

These OIC countries should first take care of Syria and Yemen instead of poking in the strictly internal matters of India. However if the have cajones, they can try to send their forces in uniform to liberate their brethren in Kashmir. I though cannot promise a good reception, last time Pakistan tried it in 1965 and the same Kashmiries which they came to liberate sent them back empty handed.

OIC has no diplomatic clout to influence the policy on kashmir... Kashmir is going nowhere no matter who & how loud sloganeering is being done by these OIC losers......

Nowhere in any democracy does the constitution allow people to carve out a country within itself and/or run away with another :P. If that were the case who wouldn't love to have a country of their own,, lol... You can be the PM/President/you name it and you be it. That unfortunately happens only in dreams.

Until and unless Saudi Arabia hold elections it had no moral right to talk about Kashmir, except turkey India need not worry about their statements.

Where are the jumping indians about their claims of isolating Pakistan by taking UAE and KSA away. For OIC India will always be a hindu nation which hates and mistreats muslims
