New pics of IAF SU30MKIs heading towards Red Flags 2008 Exercise

GREAT PICS, I WISH I COULD SEE THE SAME PICS OF PAF FIGHTERS PARTICIPATING IN AN EXERCISE

This is a good opportunity for Americans to study the latest Russina technology.
I'm sure this excercises are just a cover for providing Americans hands on to Russina defence products.

Now this is called hoax theory.

X: you are right Size does matter but in my experience the bigger the size better the target, I just want to see how Typhoon and the Frencheeees handle the IAF.

Nice pics.

We are not in 1940's where bigger size meant bigger target.

Its the RCS that matters, see F-117 its huge, but front RCS is very low.
Ofcourse Su-30 MKI is not stealth fighter.

LCA has a very less RCS, owing to the composites used and small size.

Murad Sir,

I was waiting for you to be online as I had a question in mind.

What is a Flare misfire ? How common are the cases of flare misfires while landing ?

I am basically referring to this picture in where SU-30MKI had a Flare misfire on rotation

Thanks in Advance

Size does matter here. In Close in combat, the bigger you are, the easier you are to spot. So the smaller adversary can get a visual on you before you can and devise tactics to better position himself against you in order to shoot you down. This is the one major observation that even the USAF pilots in CI05 had made about the Su-30.

Murad sahib,

The IAF will be in the ex. with USAF, the South Koreans and the French with their Rafales. I do not think the RAF is participating with the Typhoon.
