New Iranian Assault rifle and Submachine gun shown at 15th IPAS Exhibition

15th International Exhibition of Police, Safety, and Security Equipment (IPAS) has been opened today in Tehran, like every year new and old achievements are presented to public, this year Iran Defense Industries Organization showed two new weapons for the first time.

A new multi caliber Assault rifle , there are 5.56mm and 7.62mm versions of it.

New Submachine gun
Edit: Apparently it is a pistol smg conversion kit

This is what we've been waiting for , maturation of Iranian defense companies . Rapid development of new designs which all lead to better results day by day .

this is exactly what a free nation should hold pride in . for ex. if Iran buys Su-30s i won't be proud of our air force because of them , but because of the less-effective and modern Saeghe-90 !!

Iran has a bright future ahead of itself and these are all indications of it .

It was evaluated by the Syrian's from what I hear it performed embarrassingly bad, an utter piece of trash.
