should be restarted. So much investment must not be allowed to go waste.

This power plant would have generated one of the most expensive electricity for Pakistanis.... are Pakistanis willing to buy electricity at the rate of 40 PKR a unit?....

Now everybody...Hail Chinese company that built this expensive powerplant for you guys....

Idiot, this Chinese company is presently building a power plant in India and another two in Pakistan. Go away with your fat as.

Dude... its too expensive to operate... in order to make it operational and sustain operations Government of Pakistan will have to give huge subsidy to sustain the demand... that will kill the balance sheet.
Corruption just killed this project ..... there were huge kickbacks involved in this project... that inflated the costs by 300%...

This looks like its about the hydel project. Not the thermal one. They are two different things. Can somebody who knows Urdu confirm this?

See this is what I meant by Indian trolls derailing any threads that are purely Pakistan's internal affair.

Who knows basically these 57 Billion rupees have actually been consumed on this project? 8-)

nop..
it says about shut down, kick backs and faliure of imposing fine for delay.. learn Urdu, its same but characters are different..

So what ?? Breakdowns are common within the first year of commissioning of a New power plant. could be a number of issues. I can list 20+ reasons.

Commissioning into commercial operation and plant stabilization are different, often they have critical failures, nothing that make an entire plant useless.. give it a year it will smoothen out..

This forum is fast becoming a breading ground for Indian trolls. It now seems as if we are visitors here.
