KarachiThe Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Chief Altaf Hussain has called for imposition of Martial Law in Punjab to end what he said lawlessness and injustice faced by people of the province. Altaf Hussain said that he would come back to Pakistan in uniform to save the system and the country.
The change has now become fate of the oppressed people the nation will not surrender to any obstacle in the way of mass revolution, he said while addressing a gathering of reinstated workers of KESC at party headquarter, Nine Zero on Monday.
In his telephonic address to KESC restored employees, Altaf Hussain said that he would wear army uniform to save the system and institutions. He said that he had directed the Governor Sindh for restoration of sacked employees. He maintained, army is most powerful institution of the country adding now judiciary is free and working smoothly.
He urged the PM and President to appoint honest persons as heads of the government departments. He said if revolution comes the military and judiciary will support it. A prompt action should be taken against criminals without discrimination. He said Punjab government has failed to maintain law and order in the province adding that in these circumstances the martial law should be imposed in the province.
one more stupid statement from MQM
The MQM Chief urged judiciary and army to support the masses against capitalists and feudal lords. Pointing to law and order situation in Punjab, Hussain called for Martial Law in the province to help end lawlessness and injustice allegedly facing the people. It may be mentioned here that last year in August, Hussain had said his party would support steps similar to Martial Law against corrupt politicians to weed out the menace of corruption. In his address from London to party workers, he had urged patriotic generals to initiate Martial Law-like steps against feudal politicians. The MQM is ready to take any risk for steps taken against political stalwarts for eradicating corruption and benefiting the country. To nip the major evils of society, it is sometimes acceptable to support the minor ones, Hussain had added.
