Me and @MICA are having a little bit of trouble identifying something on a MiG-35 displayed at MAKS-2013. The culprit is below and to the right of the MiGs OLS.

Here is a picture of the MiG-35 displayed at MAKS-2013 with the OLS in full view and to the bottom right of it is something we can't identify which looks like a black cap.

The same system appears to be a feature of MiG-35s (reported as such) on a Russian assembly line destined for a unspecified nation*.

It is of note that this system is a relatively new thing for the MiG-35 as it was never a feature of the demonstration aircraft.

Any help would be appreciated.

Most likely a new fairing for the ultraviolet warning sensor.
The question being if it's a derivative of the 101KS-U from the PAK-FA.
So MICA's picture shows it as MAWS which is correct.

It seems to show an obturator for that equipment which if true is a nice touch.

Good day guys, Tay.

It is a missile warning system. Still looking for a higher quality version of that pic.

Thanks @Penguin mate! Then it's a standard RWR from the OLS-UEM,
I did notice these on another MAKS 2013 MiG-29/35 :

So not a L006LM Beryoza but a derivative, maybe a L-150-30 Pastel unit.
It's always hard for non-fluent Russian speakers to as the systems are often give one name
and not the parts necessarily.

Good day all, Tay.

There was also mention of a laser dsignatition detecting system.
