IOK: Indian troops kill youth

Re-read the statement. Find it - here I have mentioned the quote. Ctrl+F and check out the whole para. They have silently closed this chapter.
'The UN Mission there does not have a mandate there beyond the Line of Control.'
Find this in the document.

UN Human Rights is different from UN Security Council.

More delusions.

You claimed earlier,
The UN has updated its stand. They no longer consider it an International Issue

A UN probe into Kashmir killings is itself evidence of Kashmir being an international issue. This is besides the fact that Kashmiri leaders are at the forefront of the demand to involve UN and all India can do is detain them. In that regard, India is no different than Israel and North Korea.

Of course it is an issue. The UN released statements over Mumbai attacks too. That is the job of the UN, being an International Organization.

The UN no longer considers themselves a party to the dispute. That is what they have updated. Which means the Security Council Regulation is considered legally 'lapsed'.

Of course it is an issue.

Correction
: International issue.

The UN released statements over Mumbai attacks too.

No UN Security Council Resolution or UN probes. False equivalency.

Delusions intensify.

Regulation? Resolutions by the Security Council are legally binding as such they don't lapse. Try again.

The second point you referred to is the UNMOGIP. That does not have jurisdiction over India since 1972

Read again. Never mind. We have an UN office in our Institute, we know our thing.
The UN Resolution is over. The UNMOGIP is going to be retained till Security Council removes it. But that is not binding and will likely continue to exist.

Believe what you want henceforth.

The second point you referred to is the UNMOGIP. That does not have jurisdiction over India since 1972.

United Nations Military Observer Group for India and Pakistan (UNMOGIP) is limited to monitoring cease-fire violations on the Line of Control. India not reporting to UNMOGIP, like a responsible state would, is another instance of India behaving like Israel and North Korea.

Read again. Never mind. We have an UN office in our Institute, we know our thing.

All evidence to the contrary.

The UN Resolution is over.

Resolutions by the Security Council are legally binding. Claiming they "lapse" or are "over" is delusional.

We understand this was an inadvertent omission, as Jammu and Kashmir is one of the oldest disputes on agenda of the Security Council.

:hitwall:.
'“The Jammu and Kashmir dispute was not mentioned in the context of unresolved long-running situations,” Pakistan's acting envoy to the U.N. Amjad Hussain B Sial said. “We understand this was an inadvertent omission, as Jammu and Kashmir is one of the oldest disputes on the agenda of the Security Council,” he said, speaking at the General Assembly session, which was discussing the functioning and reform of the Security Council.'

That was what the Pak envoy said. Not the UN.

Precisely, it was an oversight, i.e., inadvertent omission.

Kashmir remains an international issue with an active independence movement. And, Security Council Resolution is present as ever despite your denials.

Are you dumb?

The UN press release said it is not a dispute. Pakistani envoy said (hoped) it was an inadvertent omission.
Never mind.
