Gen Bikram Singh and Gen Suhag are part of old boys network of retired COAS Gen JJ Singh and Deepak Kapur. These promotions and posting and transfer route was set up by them. This link has to be broken. Only then other senior officers of the army awaiting their chance to be COAS would be realised.
