British India was a hotbed of exploitation - and thanks to their domination of english-language historical research airbrushes a series of acts that would be criminal even in that day and age. The ancestors of many present day Indians, Pakistanis and Bangladeshis suffered horribly on their account. Even the horrors of partition were primarily the result of a disinterest in orderly withdrawal that could easily have been prevented.

Do you understand the difference between economic aid and military aid?

The same Dawn news story that gets you jumping with joy mentions the $166 bn Israel received as military aid - in addition to the $65 bn economic aid.

A better yardstick is US aid per capita. Pakistan gets 10x as much as India on a per capita basis - which is the only meaningful comparison.
