Not heard of any drone strike for ages now..

Have the US completely abandoned the drones strikes now?? Or is it cause of Raheel Shareef that they had to stop it??

They stopped bcz of heavy campigning and complaining by human right organisations. Secondly strikes were being done by consent of previous governments and military leadership as evident by shamsi airbase.

When was the last time USA doing something because of human rights organizations or because they have lost an air base in Pakistan? They have enough airbases in Afghanistan for that.

They stopped because most of their targets either have been killed or have moved to Afghanistan where they feel far more safe as compared to Pakistan. Afghan Taliban, TTP, Daesh, AQ all have made Afghanistan their home hence the increase in strikes in Afghanistan.

if Pakistan control all of its land no one will dare to drone attack . its simple when our police gov writ and military can not go a place inside Pakistan then everyone hove right to operate there

Well TTP's previous 2 leaders, Baitullah Mehsud and HakimUllah Mehsud were killed in drone strikes..

US would have achieved what they aimed for. For example OBL capturing.
The aim is destabilization of Pakistan, curtailment of Russian and Chinese interests...this aim is still ongoing....

the battle may be over but the war rages on...

Most of the lunatics have been kicked out of Pakistan via Zarb e azab or because they voluntarily left to continue their jihad in Syria/Iraq.

US has also shifted its focus to elsewhere.

The last drone strike got the head of Afghan Taliban inside Pakistan.

So if the target exists, hellfire will fly. So apparently it is up to the Pakistanis as always was the case.

Let's be honest, drone strikes were being conducted with permission from the govt/military in exchange for US $$.

No more money = no more strikes.

Because there is nothing left to target after ops Zarb-e-Azb. On the contrary they are still happening almost all over the world esp Afghanistan.

These drone strikes don't just happen because Pakistan is helpless, they happen because those who run our country are like beggars (no, worse) and value money over everything else.
