Govt. to set up IT park in J&K

Jammu: Jammu and Kashmir has decided to set up an Information technology Park in the industrial Estate in Budgam district to boost IT sector in the state.

"An Information Technology Park would be set up in the industrial Estate, Ompora, Budgam to boost IT sector in the state," Minister for Information Technology, Animal and Sheep Husbandry, Syed Aga Ruhullah Mehdi said while reviewing the progress of the proposed project at a meeting here today.

The Minister said that government has proposed to set up IT parks in several parts to boost IT activities in the state. He said the move will go a long way in early implementation of e-governance in the state.


Every effort is being made to expand the ambit of IT, the minister said highlighting the need to take it to the remote areas for more benefit.He said a joint inspection of the proposed sites, including Jammu and Samba, would be conducted to ensure early commencement of work on the projects.He said the projects, once completed, would not only help in promoting IT sector in the state, but also generate employment for the youth.

Yes along with it take strict action against goons and don't make them hero.

That taliban geelani was under house arrest for 10 months and in the same house arrest he used to address rallies, hold protest and even travel to delhi............what the hell????????

What kind of house arrest is that?????????????

Its all the game of geelani, omer and mufti to leverage maximum funds and exploit kashmir and govt.of India.

We need a strong central govt. that dosen't move by media or puppet NGOs but the reality.
 
Really a good step.... when JK improves and more educated youths pour in ... i dont find any reason they will join Mr. Geelani for money... But they will give Geelani money and will ask him to execute on his own bare hands
 
The Indian state of Jammu and Kashmir is going to get hugely benefited from this move.
