French President Francois Hollande said Thursday shortly will create a National Guard in France to help the police to fight against the terrorist attacks in this country where they have multiplied lately.


"The president decided that the National Guard would be built on existing operational reserves," said the Elysee in a statement after a meeting with François Hollande of Parliamentary on this subject. Trade-offs will be made in early August before a formal operationalization expected in early autumn.

First instead of going for reserves. National Guards should be more like permanent Para Military force also having special forces and APC and IFV and Attack Helicopters. On the other France also needs to change its policies

First start by identifying the mosques that preach the extremist form of Islam. Kick out the imams of these mısques and start training imams that preach a moderate and true Islam unlike the perverted version that the murderous scum from ISIS preach and practice. Register these mosques and imams to the government so that it can be regulated and controlled. Then you can start with rebuilding your inner security apparatus. In fact you have to do both. I agree if the attackers were known any police force can end the threat before they strike they also need to rethink their strategy and who they support in the middle east
