F-22 Line "still viable" amid fears over J-20

I have never seen commercial **** made in China. There are indeed private couples who film themselves but it is illegal to market **** commercially. If there is a commercial **** industry, I don't know about it. Why would I purposely deny it? Prostitution is technically illegal but its everywhere and I don't even deny that, **** is nothing compared to real prostitution. If it was underground then there's no need for his comment about the censoring of private parts since there's no need to comply with the censors.

Funny thing is, prostitution is technically illegal in Japan and Thailand as well :lol:
 
Again, please ignore gubbi. We're having a running argument in another thread. I called out a member for posting racist comments. Gubbi came to his defence and claims it is not racist. I even had to drag out a dictionary definition on racism and Gubbi has fled the discussion. I think nescafe is a friendly and likeable guy. Gubbi, on the other hand, dreams of a world in which no one disagrees with his points of view, because he can't competently defend his own.

Racist abuse and harassment are prominent forms of direct discrimination found here on this forum.

canning f22s for f35s was a bad decision. it seems like USAF is going for quantity over quality here. and f35s ended up not much cheaper then f22s.
 
its good China has no ****; while the Japnese **** industry is booming...sad they left their culture & let the American culture malign theirs...

The F-35's electronics are far superior to the F-22's. In recent field testing the F-35's electronics were able to locate and jam F-22 radars.

"Air Force leaders shed more light on the communications issues facing the F-22 Raptor today, telling lawmakers that the plane will not be receiving the same datalink being developed for the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter.

The service had been looking at integrating the Multifunction Advanced Datalink onto the F-22, F-35 and B-2 Spirit bombers in an effort to give all stealth jets a secure way of communicating.

MADL however, is not “mature” enough to install on the Raptor without incurring too much risk, said Air Force Chief of Staff Gen. Norton Schwartz.

“We should let the F-35 development effort mature before tacking it onto the F-22, this was a cost and a risk calculation on our part,” the four-star told the House Appropriations defense subcommittee today.

He went on to say that the jet “can communicate” with older fighters using Link-16 via something called BACN, a version of which can translate info from the Raptor’s Intra-flight Data Link to Link-16 format; allowing it to communicate with older fighters. BACN has been critical in aiding communications in the skies over Afghanistan where it’s been mounted on everything from a Block 20 RQ-4 Global Hawk to business jets. http://defensetech.org/2011/03/25/is-a- ... bya-fight/

However, when asked if the version of BACN that allows the Raptors to actually talk to other jets has been fielded, Schwartz couldn’t say.

So yes, in theory, the Air Force has a tool that can allow the F-22 to communicate with Link-16 equipped jets. In reality, it may not be fully fielded yet in sufficient numbers. The way Schwartz described it, anytime the F-22 would deploy with other fighters, it would need a RQ-4 Global Hawk drone equipped with BACN to be loitering nearby.

While the Air Force insists the jet wasn’t used in Libya because it is based too far from the fight, some speculate that its inability to communicate with other fighters is the real reason it was left out of Operation Odyssey Dawn.

So, given the fact that the F-22 is based far from Libya combined with the fact it would take the deployment of a Global Hawk equipped with a gateway, that may or may not be fielded, to allow it to talk to other jets, it seems like the communications issue may have played a role in the service’s decision to exclude it from Libyan ops. It would just be too much effort to quickly deploy the Raptor, a jet which wouldn’t have a heck of a lot of use in Libya, with its ancient air defenses, to begin with."

this may be true.

however, f22 can support even better electronics because it has a superior powerplant.

avionic is not the only thing to define a 4th gen fighter's capability. F-35might have avionics edge over F-22 but, in terms of powerplant, aerodynamics, manuoverbility, combat load``etc F-22 is unchallenging.

ohh.. the M-16 family of rifles as compared to almost all other rifles, the M1A1 is inferior to the Leo and the Leclerc, and the T-90, The Aim-120 is inferior to Russian long range missiles. The patriot is inferior to the S-300,400. the Harpoon is inferior to the Penguin and the Exocet. well, maybe on par with the penguin (but I am not entirely sure on that one) the Russian Zubr class LCAC is superior to the american air cushion LCACs ..

obviously before any americans rebel, you should remember that equally there are a lot of superior pieces of hardware in different areas..

The F-16 for example is superior to the MiG-29 as a complete package, the AEGIS system is superior to european or russian equivalents..etc etc etc ..

no one country has the absolute on quality .. it just so happens that the US spends an insane amount of money on miliatary research and usually paves the way ... but others can still outperform US systems...
 
This was so bound to happen with all that hype around J-20. Lockheed Martin will stop at nothing to restart the production lines of its most expensive aircraft till date. It is all economics; if one sees clearly, even wars are a form of economics.
