Personally I also liked the Tank EX idea, combining the modernisation of older tanks with the new techs of the Arjun gives more commonality and advantages in capability and costs. Sad that IA rejected it!

Btw, can you explain this difference?

Arjun ammunition: 39 Rounds


T72 ammunition: 44 rounds
Rate of fire: 8 rounds / min


Tank EX ammunition: 32 rounds
Rate of fire: 6 - 8 rounds / min


Arjun is way bigger than the T72, so shouldn't it carry more rounds, especially when the Tank EX with the Arjun turret comes even close as well?
