KARACHI: Dean of medicine of Karachi Medical and Dental College Professor Javed Iqbal Qazi was killed in a targeted attack on Monday afternoon, Express News reported.
Qazi’s driver was also injured and is in critical condition with two bullet wounds.
The attack took place in M Block of North Nazimabad where the college campus is located. Four unidentified attackers on two motorcycles shot at his car as he left the college campus.
Professor Qazi’s injured driver were taken to Abbasi Shaheed hospital.
The professor was first taken to the Ziauddin Hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries. His body was then transferred to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital.
