Convoy of Qatari prince comes under attack in Musakhel

Unidentified armed men attacked the convoy of a Qatari prince in Balochistan's Musakhel district on Sunday evening, DawnNews reported.

The gunmen opened indiscriminate fire on the convoy, as a result of which District Police Officer Majeed Dasti and two other security officials received bullet wounds, Levies official said.

The Qatari prince remained unharmed in the attack, said senior district administration official Mohammad Yasir.

The injured were rushed to a nearby hospital whereas the assailants managed to flee the crime scene.

The senior official further said that a case has been registered against 20 suspects.

"Some Levies personnel are also among those accused, and an investigation is underway," he added.

Last month, a team of houbara bustard hunters from Abu Dhabi, led by Prince Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, came under a gun attack by a group of men in the Gichk area of Panjgur.

Two vehicles of the convoy were damaged.

According to the tehsildar of the area, personnel of Frontier Corps and other security men retaliated, forcing the attackers to flee.

A spokesman for the banned Balochistan Libration Front had claimed responsibility of the attack.

Hunting is not problem, but killing a bird on verge of extinction is worst . Pakistani govt is responsible for the death of these birds.

Pakistan govt. may be responsible for many things but not for killing of birds....
There's no hunting mentioned in OP, but even if we believe you that it was hunting beaf, it will not stop by departure of Qatris, actually it will increase.
Arabs use eagles for hunting as a sport, while locals use 12bore guns and kill far more birds.
Secondly don't you worry about extinctions of Tilors, they are being farmed in UAE, so consider that side well covered.

The money paid by these visiting Arab dignitaries pays for the conservation of these birds of they had vanished and nobody had noticed.
It's Iranian and Indian lobby In Pakistan spitting venom against Arab visits to Pakistan which is a source of Pakistani influence on Arab policies and pains both India and Iran.
It's not about conservation of some bird, it's about satisfying Iranian enmity of arabs and Indian urge to isolate Pakistan.
