ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) –Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan has not paid his utility bills for his Bani Gala residence in the wake of his call for the widespread civil disobedience movement.

Khan’s electricity bill for the month of August was Rs 44,542 and the bill for tube well is Rs 13, 825. In case he does not pay his bill on time, he would have to pay an extra Rs 3,830 as penalty whereas there’s no gas connection at his residence. The meter reading was taken on August 19 and the bill was issued on August 26.

Chairman PTI had given a call for civil disobedience on August 18 and had appealed to the nation to refuse to pay all utility bills and taxes in a bid to oust the sitting Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif.
