Ma Xiaotian said that China and Bangladesh are traditional friendly neighbors. Since the establishment of the diplomatic relations between the two countries 36 years ago, the bilateral relations have stood the tests of vicissitudes in the world, and have been developing soundly and smoothly all the time. The two Asian developing countries share broad common interests and maintain good coordination and cooperation in international and regional affairs.

The Chinese military is willing to work with its Bangladeshi counterpart to strengthen the exchanges and cooperation at various levels and in various fields so as to make due contributions to promoting the development of the relations between the two countries and maintaining the regional peace and stability.

Mubeen welcomed the visit by the Chinese military delegation headed by Ma Xiaotian, and expressed that the Bangladeshi side attaches importance to the development of the friendly and cooperative relations with the Chinese military. He expressed gratitude to the Chinese side for the valuable support and assistance in the construction of the Bangladeshi military, and hoped that both sides would constantly deepen the friendly exchanges and pragmatic cooperation and promote the in-depth development of the relations between the two countries and the two militaries.

Wadud expressed that under the care and concern of the leaders of the two countries, the bilateral friendship has been deepening constantly. The relations between the two countries and the two militaries have been much closer since the beginning of the new century. He believed that this visit would further enhance the friendly relations that have already existed between the two militaries.
