The current move of Indian forces reminded me another deployment of forces when in year 2002, I along with my brave “The Volunteers’ Soldiers” went to the border to receive coward adversary with iron hands. Major General Athar Abbas ( then Brigadier ) Inter Services Chief Spokes Man , will swallow me out that spirited soldiers of his under command brigade were fully determined to give punch to our traditional enemy . The command echelons along with their troops used to remain busy untiringly in reconnaissance, planning, rehearsals and exploring of reception routes for blowing out the enemy. The moral of the troops was such that none of us found any wrinkle on the foreheads of any soldier despite spending day and nights in open. I believe it was due to the spirit of Jahad which was a great motivational factor for all of us. This strength made us stand courageously in front of our undeviating enemy. It also strikes me, the visit of our popular singer Jawad Ahmed who visited us in desert and boosted the moral of the soldiers through his lovely voice. Any how once I got my pen down for reviewing these two escalations of present decade , it gives me number of similarities like:- (1) Cause of moving out for Indian forces are almost same, for example in 2002 Indian blamed Pakistani involvement in targeting her Parliament and now alleged us for Mumbai Drama . (2) Same month of December & Identical weather (4) Indian leadership is suffering with war hysteria (5) Attitude of Indian government towards the regional peace is same. (6) Ill motives against Pakistan are same. (7) Violation of human rights in relation to minorities in so called secular state multiplied thousand times more .(8) Desire of winning Hindu extremism sympathies in both major Indian parties is on peak.(9) Indian extremisms pressure on the government for going all out war.

However, some variants are there like : - (1) changed Governments in both the countries. (2) Changed geopolitical environment due to presence of US and NATO troops in the region. (3) Pakistani Armed Forces are busy in war against terror on its north western front. (4) US government in transitional phase. (5) Islamabad is being ruled by a democratic government now. (6) Pakistan preparedness of war is much more since her troops are already undergoing through war against terror. (7) Pakistan indigenous development in armaments, missile and air crafts is much a head than 2002. (8) Worst economical crises in Pakistan. (9) Communal violence is leading India towards disintegration. (10) Indian desire of grabbing natural resources. (11) Pakistan has made Defence Pacts with China on December, 15, 2008.

Probably Indian leadership has thought that it is the right time to establish her regional hegemonies under the garb of Mumbai Drama. Bal Thackeray India’s Hindu Terrorist too has also asked his government to attack Pakistan without warning. He also stated that he is proud of extremist Hindu if at all they have launched Mumbai Drama. His statements do reflect the exact mentality of extremist thoughts. Reports are there that US asked Islamabad to allow New Delhi to attack some selected targets in Pakistan and later should not retaliate. Whether these reports are correct or incorrect but the fact is that President Zardari, Democratic government and Armed forces chiefs have loudly and clearly stated that Pakistan will retaliate with its full resources incase of any aggression imposed on her. The Pakistani Prime Minster also sounded in a clear tone that any surgical strike by India in response to the Mumbai terror attacks would be seen as an “act of war” and will be dealt accordingly. The stance taken by our government and chiefs of forces are being admired publicly. The above factors indicate that Indian leadership without realizing the consequences of adventure tried to create war phobia just to divert the world attention from their domestic communal violence and planned to cash the Mumbai Issue. As result of irresponsible Indian behaviour now two neighbors of South Asia are standing on the brink of nuclear war. Indian political and military leadership robotically is rushing to mount war on Pakistan. On December 26, 2008 Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh held a meeting with his services chiefs and discussed the preparedness of defence forces. According to the sources, chiefs have also presented their plans. Meanwhile Indian authorities have already asked their civilian to refrain from visiting Pakistan. On December 22,2008, The Times of India has also confirmed that Quick Reaction Teams , Indian Air force ( IAF ), additional bases and hangers have been deployed all along the eastern border. Earlier IAF has carried out space violations of the Pakistan near Lahore and Azad Kashmir Borders. Pakistan Armed forces are determined to reply Indian aggression in full strength as per national interests. Pakistan as earlier warned has started pulling out her forces from western border for deployment on the eastern border. The schools of instructions have been closed; courses have been terminated and under training troops have been dispatched to their respective units. It is heartened to know that every Pakistani including tribal are ready to fight against their traditional rival. In Karak and Banu three lacs civilian has registered themselves with the authorities to face Indian while standing shoulder to shoulder with their armed forces. Pakistani political leadership and nation has shown solidarity with their armed forces too.

On December 24, 2008 Pakistan National Assembly (NA) has asked world community to press India for the closure of terror cells and to stop anti-Pakistan propaganda. The resolution stated that Pakistan wants peace, stability and to end the tension in the region. Chief of Pakistani Army General Asfhaq Parvez Kayani while visiting the troops at various locations showed satisfaction over the preparedness of army and admired their standard of training to meet any eventuality. Here I would like to add that Indian government should not play with the lives of innocent people of the region because their illogical stand over Mumbai Drama which is on its last Sean without attaining climax. World organizations have starting showing contentment over Pakistani actions in relation to the Mumbai Drama and does not believe Indian stance. Credit goes to Pakistani government, armed forces and media since they handled the matter responsibly, maturely and sensibility. Pakistan leadership time and again asked New Delhi to provide evidence regarding Mumbai attack but later failed in handing over any evidence on ground as yet. Interpol Secretary General Ronald K Noble told a news conference in Islamabad until the Indian authorities shared information, police around the world would be unable to make any determination about the identity of the attackers. He stressed that India’s government has not authorised its police agencies to enter any data relating to the recent terrorist attacks in Mumbai in Interpol’s databases. Chinese foreign ministry spokesman Qin Gang on December 23, 2008 has suggested that the two countries make “joint efforts” to ensure peace and stability in the region. Qin said that the question of “where the terrorists are from” is a matter that will be known after proper investigations. China basically is well aware of Indian mall intentions towards the region. She also knows that New Delhi is utilizing her intelligence agencies diplomatic front and media against Pakistan. RAW is involved in launching sabotage activities in Pakistan. On December24, 2008 in a bomb blast at Lahore three Indian spies have been arrested. One of theme who earlier worked with Indian High Commission in London has also been arrested red handedly when he was directing and passing information regarding bomb blast. Again on December 28 carried out the suicide attack at a polling station and killing 34 people in Sawat, aimed could be to create hindrance for Pakistani troops who are shifting away from the region toward India. China and sensible opinion makers of both sides are convinced that Mumbai attacks reflected the failure of Indian intelligence; therefore asking India to stop blaming Pakistan. Thus, the reasons of misadventure of India could be :- (1) Hit nuclear installations. (2) Neutralizing Pakistan centre of gravity i.e. Armed Forces (3) Target some localities to cover embracement being faced by India on Mumbai Drama (4) covering up intelligence failures in Mumbai attack (5) projecting India as regional power against china. (6) Ensuring congress win against BJP in elections 2009. (7) RAW, CIA & Mossad cooperation to derail Pakistan Political Process. (8) Destabilize Pakistan and destroy her economy (9) Creating rift between government and intelligence agencies.

Now questions arise that whether Indian supported by US to become regional power or not. Can India afford surgical strike against a nuclear state? Will Pakistan restrict only to traditional war? What will be future of war against terror on western front and in Afghanistan? The answers to questions are that Pakistan is ten times more powerful than in 1965 and twenty times stronger than in 1971. Pakistan military leadership is enjoying full national support. Indian political top brass and media put their best to create the war phobia in the general public without realizing that their country is not a supper power and nor Pakistan is like Afghanistan or Iraq. Moreover Pakistan will not be able to afford traditional war and has to counter Indian motives while using her nuclear resources in case of requirement. She has to go for first strike option. The war would also result into disintegration of India and will likely to give birth to Khalistan; Christen State in Orissa Tamils and Muslim states of Gujarat and Bengal .it will also accelerate the Kashmir movement independence too. Indian master US should remember that Taliban movement will face more comfort to push out Americans from the region since Pakistan has got a golden chance to disengage her forces from western fronts. Concluding, I guess that India cannot afford war with Pakistan now and ever because our nation is united to teach lesson to our adversary. She should stop thinking of implementing Israeli doctrine to become regional watch dog. Israel in an air raid on Gaza too killed over 200 women, children and others on December 27, 2008. OIC should hold a conference to take joint actions against Israel and India to stop them from carrying out state terrorism against innocent people.
