LAHORE: Central leaders of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf have said that able and bold leadership is vital to resolve Kashmir issue on permanent basis.
In a joint statement, Senior Vice Chairman of party Shah Mahmood Qureshi, senior leaders Jehangir Tareen and Abdul Aleem Khan said that during last 65 years many times this problem was near to decide but due to lack of vision and courage it remained undecided.
Imran Khan has clear instance on all the national issues and InshaAllah after coming into power, PTI would get the right of self-determination to Kashmiris. Shah Mahmood Qureshi, Jehangir Tareen and Abdul Aleem Khan said that including UNO all the international institutions should also play their role in Kashmir issue and take notice of the atrocities of the Indian Army at wide scale. They said that visionary leadership should be elected by the masses in the coming general elections which would engage India into dialogue on the core issue of Kashmir.
Meanwhile, according to PTI spokesman, party has taken notice of a statement by Asma Jehangir in which she has attacked PTI Chairman Imran Khan for raising objections on her nomination by PML-N as caretaker prime minister. A PTI spokesman said that the problem with Ms Jehangirs nomination was not her person but that she didnt qualify on the conditions that the party thought were necessary for a caretaker prime minister.
The PTI spokesman said that party had laid down three necessary preconditions before somebody could be considered for the most important post of interim PM during the election period.
