Blast heard in Peshawar
PESHAWAR: Two people were injured in a blast near Kohat Road, Peshawar, Express News reported on Thursday.

The explosion took place near a pick-up stand in the Scheme Chowk area, however, the exact nature of the blast is not known as yet.

Police have cordoned off the area.

Rescue workers have left for the blast site, while the injured were taken to the Lady Reading Hospital.

The explosion was heard far and wide.
