Bangladesh Army Chief calls on Sri Lanka Defence Secretary
General Mohammed Abdul Mubeen, Bangladesh Chief of Army Staff, Thursday (Feb 24) paid a courtesy-call to Secretary Defence Mr. Gotabaya Rajapaksa at the Ministry of Defence.
A cordial discussion was held between the two officials on matters of regional defence interests followed by an exchange of mementos.
Commander of the Sri Lanka Army Lt General Jagath Jayasooriya, Defence Attach of Bangladesh High Commission in Sri Lanka and senior officers of Bangladesh Army were also present at the occasion.
