UNITED NATIONS, Feb 24 (APP): The Asian Group at United Nations on Friday endorsed Pakistan for election to the Commission on the Status of Women, for a four-year term beginning in 2013, diplomats said.The 45-member Commission is the principal global policy-making body dedicated exclusively to gender equality and advancement of women. It works for promotion of women’s rights in political, economic, social and educational fields.
