its so sad that Mecca of Hinduism Mt. Kailash(the Adobe of Shiva) is in China which allows only a limited no. of pilgrims at once.

Which is in fact good for the Himalayas, otherwise it would have been a commercial place..
 
Damn South India must have some tough guys they were never conquered by foreigners till the Brits came..

These few empires dont represent the majority of south Asia's history. Through out most of history south Asia has been a region with empires rulling among themselves, not a united nation. A united country known as "india" didnt exist untill 1947.

Yeah But Ashoka Empire puts to rest the theory that South Asia was never unified....all it takes is one incident and thats enough to put down all claims...

That really doesnt matter.

Through out majority of history the subcontinent has never been a united nation... that's what actually matters... what happened through out the majority of history.

Here comes the flamer read about chola empire it captured maldives and srilanka and why do you have to bring religion in ever thing
 
I respect the cholas very much there navy was bad a$$ they captured sri lanka and maldives many say they even captured more of islands but cant prove it
