I think NANDA EMPIRE(345bc-321bc) and Vijayanagara Empire(1336-1646) must be included in the list.

Maurya's too. Mainly in the central asia.

But, Cholas controlled a huge area outside India.

One of the most impressive too. Specially Akbar the Great's tax collection system, military complex and so on..

Mughals were an economic superpower..so much so that even French chroniclers have written about the majesty of Mughal Court...
