A list of Questions here which i ask members to look into and write opinion.

1) Agni-3 has length of 17 meters Diameter of 2 meters, and weighs 22 Tons
Agni-5 has length of 17.5 Meters Diameter of 2 meters and weighs 50 Tons.

How could just 50 Cm increase in length made the Agni-5 more than twice heavier than Agni-3?

================================================================================

2) On Wikipedia page for Agni-3 the warhead size is mentioned as 2.5 Tons.
But later below on the same page under the description RV MK 4 or the description of Missile's Re-Entry Vehicle,it says the Weapon size is 600Kg to 1800 Kg. So that can be taken as the actual weight of the nuclear bomb and the rest is the weight of Re-Entry Vehicle including motors , electronics,fuel and shielding?
Going by that assumption if the bomb has maximum weight of 1800Kg but the missile Payload is mentioned at 2500Kg,then the RV weighs 700 Kg?

While reading wiki i noticed that it says Missile's warhead stage is still under development,meaning something better is on the way. But the current warhead capacity is stated as 1500 Kg
As unlike Agni-3 which has a very large space for Warhead,Agni-5 has a very small space for Warhead as the third stage occupied much of the triangular space on top of stage 2 (as shown in the pictures)
Does that mean the 1.5 Ton mentioned is the Nuclear bomb plus the Re-Entry Vehicle?
Going by what we read in Agni-3 case the RV is 700 KG but total payload capacity of Agni-5 is mentioned at 1500Kg. Then the actual Bomb weight must be 800 Kg?

====================================================================================

Some visual comparison and limits of stages on Agni-3 and Agni-5.

First Agni-5

Cable runners on each stage are clearly visible? The narrow linear tubular protrudes? The first stage cable runner ends just below where it says "A5" . So thats the limit of stage 1.
The second stage cable Runner starts just above the DRDO insignia and ends just below the Indian flag,so thats the limits of stage 2?
The thirds stage being tucked away in the triangular section on top has cable runner starting at the ring above Indian flag and ends at the Black cone . So that's the limit of Third stage.. I am assuming that this stage only fires up in the vaccum of space where there is no resistance of air,so despite being very small,adds to the range significantly.
The Warhead or the actual bomb is housed in the Black cone.

3) Since the Black Cone comprises of the Bomb and the shielding and there had to be a gap between the two . Can such a confined space carry 1.5 Tons if considering that the 1.5 ton payload mentioned on wiki is just the bomb weight excluding RV?

================================================================================

For interest sake here are the limits of Agni-3 stages and where the RV starts. watch the cable runners on the side.

It can be seen the space for warhead is far larger than what is available on A-5.

There's no such thing as Agni-5 missile or Agni-3. In fact, India doesn't even have a diwali rocket, let alone such a sophisticated missile. It's actually a Star Wars lightsabre zoomed-in in pictures and videos and dressed up in an Indian Tricolor.

Matter of fact, I bought 2 kilo Agni-5 and Agni-3's last Diwali and all the smog in Pakistan last year was caused by my Agnis.

give noble prize to expert who can provide full technical details of a missile just by looking at the grainy images !

Ok times now expert who declared babur 3 test a fake... needs 2 noble prizes than

Retaliation for questioning babur 3? Yeah all our missiles are fake including our satellite launch vehicles.
Next the OP is going to post about brahmos being a firecracker bought from russia but made in china.

Most of the earlier missiles developed were using liquid propellant but now they all have been moved to solid propellants.

Epic Fail.
In the first test launch itself the K-4 missile was launched from a depth of 30m.
Also K-4 has nose thrusters to make it capable of hypersonic cruise:
Additionally, the K-4 missile is capable of cruising at hypersonic speed and supported by a 3D terrain weaving feature for target mapping as it approaches its target, this exceptional feature of the weapon system makes it difficult to be tracked easily and destroyed by any anti-ballistic missile defense systems.
Also Pakistani Shaheen-3 missiles still uses stabilising fins like obsolete scud of 50s Era:

Sorry I was not able to quote you by name hence replying to one of your post.

The range difference is achieved not by adding more fuel. This is a classic rocket problem. To carry more mass to space you need more fuel. But that added fuel will too need some more fuel to get it airborn in first place. Hence adding more fuel is a bit oxymoronic for a defence point of view. The major difference between two missiles would be different kind of propellent grain geometry. Finer the grain geometry better the burn providing better burn charecteristic and on turn providing better specific impulse to launch the projectile farther up in space. Moreover a better stage 2 provide it with its longer legs. It was also rumoured that different kind of propellent is used in A5 for higher specific impulse. That's the true reason for the mamoth range with just 50Cm increase in length...

Now coming to the video showing the canesterised launch of A5. The "Huge chunk" of missile being highlighted is the ejector (or common known as gas generator) . That is what pushes the entire projectile out of the tube where it fires its stabilizers (the small horizontal & diagonal flames) to level the entire projectile body and then at last fires those massive first stage engine. Firing up the main engines inside the tube would be highly unwise. The amount of heat, smoke and acoustics would shread the missile, canester and the launches vehicle all at once.

Good analysis..tell this to ur masters..global times is shouting at top of their voice and making the peace loving chinise uncomfortable.

Safriz is suffering. He never asks how Pakistan makes entire test fail proof missiles despite producing only thirty something out of 94 critical technologies as per MTCR ;)

Thank you DRDO.

BTW the Pakistani masses have learned to accept absurd claims by their military masters. We must not do that. But this fellows analyses is plain weird.

Agni-4 can only hit Beijing if fired from North India. Red line shows 4000 Km distance,the range of Agni-4

Agni 5 do not weigh 50 ton but around 25 tons. 50 ton weight is with canister and support system.

I think there is no confusion now.
