AS FOR INDIA ..... POPULATION EXPLOSION IS STILL A BIG HEADACHE .......THOUGH HUMAN RESOURCE IS THE GREATEST WEALTH OF A NATION.....IT DEPLETES ALL THE WEALTH CREATED.......BETTER EDUCATION AND FACILITIES CAN BE PROVIDED IF THE POPULATION IS UNDER CONTROL...OTHERWISE ALL THE WEALTH WE MAKE IS JUST GOING TO GO TO FEED THE EVER INCREASING POPULATION ....i.e.NO DEVELOPMENT ACTUALLY!!!!!

Well what to say, IMO, Pak was not doing bad economically compared to India just 15-20 yrs ago....and if I am not wrong Pak rupee was stronger than India's, but back then India wasnt a full open economy....no imported cars etc rem? Since Manmohan took charge of finances first as finance minister and then as PM, and terrorism and conspiraces took charge of Pak, India has gone way ahead of us, and we unfortunately have gone backwards and cant even generate electricity to our demands. Wheat we have to import and FDI coming in can not be guaranteed against fanaticism.

I dont want to sound too negative and definitely there would have been better things to mention, specially as I saw it myslef during Musharraf's tenure (as i also found my first job during economic boom of his era), things had started picking up and suddenely high pay packages, more fields to find jobs in and overall more cash was strting to be seen, but it aint good feeling specially when one thinks that we werent that bad not too long ago.

These movements are peanuts when compared to the ttp and taliban and the amount of struggle your army is facing in squashing them.

Before you throw Naxals at me let me remind you that the Indian army is not involved in anti Naxal operations.

TTP is a new group. It didn't exist before India set its consulates in Afghanistan. You cant compare it to to the Naxilites and Maoists thats been going on for decades in India.

India is almost three times the size of Pakistan and population is also 5 times , it has more human and land resources .

I think Pakistan within its resourses and geopolitical conditions performed not bad in last 60 years.

Pakistan is 5th largest world populated country ,so it should utilize human resourse potential by increasing the education standard and have also advantage of strategic location. Pakistan can become hub of economy for middle east and central asia.

In short, Pakistan have potential to become economic super power of world in next 20 years if they focus on infrastructure, education and security .

Your population-land area concept is wrong. JAPAN has less population and lesser land area compared to pakistan and it is the second largest country by GDP after US. (Pakistan is 48th, China 3rd), In addition to that they just rose from the ashes after the total distruction of two nuclear bombs. Japan has fewer natural resources and is a hot spot of cyclones and tsunamies and a volcano. More odds are against Japan than to Pakistan.

Maybe because the Hindus embraced western knowledge and scientific advancement than the Muslims or the people living in those areas which are now in Pakistan.
correct me please,I think I could be totally wrong.

Please don't distinguish us as the Hindus, as we have a uniquely diverse society here in India, which to a lesser extent is also their in Pakistan and Bangladesh, meant no offence.

But more than 80% of India's population is Hindu, the vast majority is Hindu and you people even refer your own country as Hindustan and Bharat and your own people as Hindustanis and Bharatis.

Wow wow stop right there. We dont call our nation HINDUSTAN...it was before 1947 and those days are over my friend. Its either Bharat or India. Just because 80% are Hindus doesnt mean India is Hindu country if u think so that is ur bottle-neck mentality, and we cant help u there.:disagree:. China has more buddhists than muslims and I havent seen any pakistani calling China as a Bhuddist nation, why? coz it wont make sense for a guy with brain. I know its hard for some people to digest the concept of "Secular".

I agree, but I think it would be better if we address each other by our national Identity as the tropic implies, not by religious identity, rest depends upon you as you seems to be a senior member of this forum.
