Islamabad, Pakistan (CNN) -- Seven suspected militants were killed and three others were injured Wednesday in a drone strike in Pakistan, Pakistani intelligence and government officials told CNN on Wednesday.
The incident occurred in the country's tribal region of North Waziristan. The strike targeted a house used as a base for Uzbek fighters.
There is a significant presence of militants in the region.
